Scoop, Scoop, and Away LLC

1. Service Agreement and Scope
By scheduling pet waste removal services with Scoop, Scoop, and Away LLC, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure clear expectations for both parties and allow us to provide reliable, efficient, and safe service.
2. Pricing and Payments
Recurring Services: Rates are based on the number of dogs, yard size, service frequency, and waste accumulation. Pricing is communicated before service begins.
One-Time Cleanups: Fees are determined based on yard size, number of dogs, and waste accumulation.
Billing Cycle: Payments for recurring services are processed after each visit. The card on file will be charged after completion of service.
Card on File Requirement: A valid payment method must be on file before service begins.
Cancellation Fees: One-time service cancellations on the day of the appointment may be subject to a fee.
Refunds: Refunds will not be issued for past services but may be considered for unused, prepaid future services.
3. Initial Cleaning Discount Policy
The discounted initial cleaning rate is available for customers starting a weekly or bi-weekly service plan.
To qualify, the customer must commit to at least three recurring visits after the initial clean.
If service is canceled before the third visit, the discount is removed and the initial visit will be billed at the one-time rate. The difference will be applied to the final invoice.
4. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure smooth service, customers must:
Provide an accurate estimate of when the yard was last cleaned
Keep the yard reasonably maintained (no excessive overgrowth)
Ensure gates are unlocked and pets are secured indoors before each visit
Contain any aggressive pets prior to service
Make outdoor trash bins accessible if on-site disposal is preferred
Disclose the accurate number of dogs using the yard
Pricing is based on the information provided. If we discover conditions that differ from the information given, including additional dogs or higher-than-expected accumulation, pricing may be adjusted retroactively or service may be suspended.
5. Scheduling and Service Interruptions
Missed Visits Due to Access Issues: If we cannot access the yard due to locked gates, loose dogs, or obstructions, the visit may still be charged.
Weather Conditions: Severe weather such as heavy rain, snow, or extreme cold may cause service delays or cancellations. Customers will be notified of any changes.
Delays and Rescheduling: Excessive waste or unusual yard conditions may require rescheduling to avoid disrupting other appointments.
6. Safety and Liability
Pet Safety: Pets must be secured indoors before service. If a dog is loose or the yard is unsafe, the visit will be skipped and still charged.
Dog Encounters: We do not enter yards with unfamiliar or aggressive dogs.
Worker Safety: We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe.
Liability Limitation: Scoop, Scoop, and Away LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. If liability is determined, it will not exceed the service amount paid or $100, whichever is less.
7. Customer Communication and Notifications
SMS Policy: By submitting a form or scheduling service, you agree to receive communication via call, text, or email, including automated messages. These may include service updates, reminders, or limited promotional offers (no more than two per month). Reply END or STOP to opt out. Standard rates apply. Your information will never be sold.
Service Reminders: Customers receive a reminder the day before and a same-day text at 8:30 AM.
Arrival Notifications: We notify you when we are on the way to allow time to secure pets.
Complaint and Dispute Policy:
Customers must report any service-related concerns within 24 hours of the visit.
After 24 hours, the service will be considered complete and accepted.
Requests outside this window may not be accommodated.
Refunds or corrections are handled at our discretion.
8. Waste Disposal and Yard Cleanliness
Standard Service: Waste is bagged and placed in the customer's outdoor trash bin at no extra cost.
Full Waste Removal Add-On: If preferred, we can haul away the waste for an additional fee.
Excessive Waste Conditions: If a yard contains excessive or undisclosed waste beyond the agreed scope, we may adjust pricing or decline service.
9. Service Documentation Policy
At our discretion, Scoop, Scoop, and Away LLC may take time-stamped photos to document completed work. These may be used internally to verify service completion in the event of a customer concern or dispute.
10. No-Guarantee Clause for Minor Misses
While we strive for thoroughness, 100 percent removal cannot be guaranteed. Visibility can be affected by grass length, recent mowing, leaves, weather, and other ground cover. Minor misses may happen, especially during the first few visits to a new yard or after poor weather conditions.
11. Modifications and Termination of Service
Service Modifications: Customers may modify or cancel recurring service with prior notice. Last-minute changes may incur a fee.
Termination of Service: We reserve the right to terminate service if:
Gates are repeatedly locked
Pets are repeatedly unsecured
Payments are not made or no card is on file
The yard becomes unsafe for entry
Customer behavior is threatening or inappropriate
If service is terminated for any of these reasons, no refunds will be issued. Reinstatement may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
12. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, the customer agrees to attempt resolution directly with Scoop, Scoop, and Away LLC. If no resolution is reached, the matter will be handled in accordance with Wisconsin state law.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Wisconsin. Any legal disputes will be resolved in Wisconsin courts.
14. Agreement Confirmation
By signing up for service, the customer confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. All future disputes will refer to this agreement as the basis for resolution.
